Time Out says

Not to be confused with the following weekend’s identically located (though more expensive) Holi Festival of Colour, Holi One is the latest arrival on London’s improbably crowded ersatz Hindu festival scene. Yes, the event shows a total disregard for the real festival’s actual purpose: celebrating the arrival of spring. In March. But why spoil the presumably karma-balancing opportunity to pelt your mates with coloured powder?

Organisers suggest wearing white clothes you won’t mind binning after the fact, though Holi One gulal (powder), they stress, is entirely non-toxic and water soluble. Less non-toxic are the alcoholic drinks served onsite alongside food and soft drinks throughout the day. Participants must be 18 or older, and outside gulal is strictly prohibited.

If you're quick, you can take advantage of our Time Out offer.
