Hove Festival

Linkin Park, Robyn, Kaisers Orchestra, 30 Seconds To Mars, deadmau5, Big Boi, Mars Volta, Kasabian, Brandon Flowers. We're not going to lie, this festival isn't cheap and kids aren't allowed to camp, so if you were planning on a family outing, you'd best confine it to one-day only. The ticket price is steep and so is the alcohol, however the hard cash goes on big-name acts and a completely eco-friendly shindig that leaves no carbon footprint. With sets from California's rap-metallers LP, sassy, lightning-blonde odd-pop Swede Robyn and Jared Leto's angsty, guitar-centric LA quintet 30STM. Plus, when the music tires (as if it would!) there's theatre performances, film screenings, a spoken word programme and visual arts.
