Osibisa, Manasseh Sound, Cornel Campbell/Soothsayers, Max Romeo And The Charmax Band, Trulosound, Poeticat, Doudou Cissoko + more.

If you're old enough to remember and enjoy jolly self-sufficiency sitcom 'The Good Life' (or if you just enjoy watching repeats on Gold), the rural antics of the free Lambeth Country Show are probably your bag. Running continuously since 1974, the Show attracts more than150,000 people across the weekend each year. Homegrown vegetable-offs, jam and chutney making, sheep dog and owl displays nestle amongst art, crafts, sport and games. You can race a camel, joust, watch Morris dancing or giant puppets. There's a carnival costumes parade, mask and headdress workshop, dance and drama, food and drink, yoga, gamelan, comedy, workshops, sheep shearing and loads more. In terms of music, it's an all-encompassing affair, with Latin, dub, Afrobeat, ska, soul, reggae, folk and classical from local and low-key bands soothing your chutney-addled brain. Just don't wear a fluffy white jumper as you'll get rounded up and penned by a keen border collie.
