Time Out says

The Piccadilly Big Jubilee Lunch event involves all the arts organisations and businesses along the street, including the Royal Academy of Arts, BAFTA, The Ritz, The Wolseley, Fortnum & Mason and St James’s Church. The street will be closed to traffic for the first time in its history and decked out in bunting. Events include a showreel of British Cinema and a chance to walk the red carpet, courtesy of BAFTA, a display of vintage cars from Brookland Museum, a 'best of British' tent hosted by Brown's Hotel, with traditional games and food on offer. Picnics, a champagne and tea bar, as well as Highgrove beef burgers are on offer from Fortnum & Mason, with music courtesy of the Ritz Restaurant's resident band, an artisan market, themed events in the Royal Academy courtyard, performances by brass bands and a traditional fairground in the grounds of St James's. A big screen shows live footage of events across the capital. The centrepiece will be a 500-seat street party table where, in return for a £1 donation to the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust you'll be able to take your hampers and picnic baskets and enjoy a sociable lunch. Bookings are for timed, one-hour slots. Register via www.piccadillybigjubileelunch.org
