Weekend 51

The Southbank Centre looks back to the 1951 Festival of Britain with a weekend of events including Punch and Judy shows, folk dancing, performances by gamelan (percussion instrument) ensembles and the chance to take part in a recreation of that year's floral bicycle parade by decorating your bike in flowers and taking part in a parade. The event also encompasses the Mayor's Story of London Festival.
