World Pride Parade 2012

London hosts World Pride, with a procession through the West End organised by Pride London with support from Visit London and the Mayor of London. The parade will start from Baker Street at 11am and end in Trafalgar Square, where there'll be a mixture of musical acts including Boy George and Corey Hart, and political speakers. Headlining is Canadian singer Deborah Cox. See the website for full details. London is currently hosting WorldPride – a two-week festival (Jun 23-Jul 8) organised by InterPride to promote lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues internationally.
