Max Plays Murnau

Take a time machine back to the heady days of silent cinema courtesy of musician Hugo Max this summer. The British-Austrian virtuoso will be performing live viola accompaniment to a triptych of FW Murnau expressionist masterpieces: vampire classic Nosferatu (1922), The Last Laugh (1924) and Faust (1926). Catch these unique screenings at venues across the UK in May, June and July, with London screenings at Phoenix Cinema (6pm, July 6) and Riverside Studios (4pm, July 13), amongst others.
