Time Out says

What is it?
In a quiet corner of Covent Garden you'll find this passion project of a cinema, which has converted a former office block into an art deco haven for film lovers. Opened in March 2022, this proudly independent cinema specialises in cult classics and arthouse gems from around the world. It also organises regular Q&A events with the directors who make them.

Why go?
For a refreshing antidote to the pricier, more predictable cinemas in the nearby West End. Programming is arranged into seasons that mean you can really dig into new genres, like film noir, Lebanese cinema, or hidden gems selected by members.

Don't miss:
The Garden Bar is open before and after screenings, and it's a seriously atmospheric spot to grab a drink, with collaged film stills on the walls and curvaceous red seats.

When to visit:
Monday-Thursday 12.30pm-9.30pm; Friday 12.30pm-10.30pm; Saturday 9.30am-9.30pm; Sunday 9.30am-8pm.

Ticket info:
Prices vary, book online.

Time Out tip:
This is one cinema where the Pic 'n' Mix won't rot your teeth: fill a bag with healthy delights including Bombay mix and nuts.
