Top five reasons to go to Taste of London: The Festive Edition

The Festive Edition of Taste of London, at Tobacco Dock in east London from November 19 to 22, is the foodie highlight of the party season. This year’s theme is ‘London’s Best’ and the event showcases the city’s top producers, including London’s best chocolatiers, best brewers, best fromagerie and lots more.

Taste of London also continues its partnership with the Action Against Hunger charity. The Action Against Hunger 5-star Restaurant features five exclusive dishes from star chefs, with all proceeds going to the charity’s worldwide programmes.

Eat

The clue’s in the name. At Taste of London you can try incredible signature dishes from London’s hottest restaurants. Top dining spots feature throughout the festival as pop-up creations, including Café Spice Namaste, Club Gascon, Kurobuta, Pont St, Tredwell’s and Tom’s Kitchen.

Drink

Taste of London isn’t just about food; delicious drinks will play a vital part in bringing the show to life. In the sumptuous settings of the  Laurent-Perrier Club House you’ll get to enjoy the range of the house’s finest champagnes.For the beer lovers, there will be a craft beer hub featuring a selection of fantastic beers and ales from some of the UK’s best breweries.

Meet

Throughout Taste of London the AEG Taste Theatre is hosting live cooking demonstrations, with an impressive line-up of top chefs from all over the world. They will be preparing their favourite recipes, showing you how to transform everyday ingredients into extraordinary dishes. A rare opportunity to see the masters at work, up close, in a series of live shows – Mark Hix, Tom Kerridge, Marcus Wareing and Sophie Michell are just a few of the top chefs joining the festival. Learn

One of the most popular highlights at every Taste of London event is the AEG Let's Taste Live Cooking experience. For the festive edition of Taste of London, TV chef Jeremy Pang from School of Wok will be helping you create your own gourmet food. These sessions give you a chance to cook alongside Jeremy and discover how to improve your own culinary skills using the latest AEG appliances.

At these fun, hands-on workshops you can try out new recipes and pick up hints, tips and techniques All the sessions feature AEG’s latest steam and induction technology. Places are free, but strictly on a first come, first served basis, so sign up early on the day and don’t miss out!

Shop

Stock up on goodies to make your party the best in town, and buy those special presents to give to the ones you love. There are over 100 food and drink companies exhibiting at Taste of London: The Festive Edition, including regional producers you won’t find in your local shops.
