Shhh… the Harvey Nichols Secret Forest pop-up is here

The Knightsbridge store has got into the spirit of Christmas – and you’re invited to explore it

Fancy a big surprise? If you go down to the woods today (and by the woods, we mean leafy Knightsbridge), then your Christmas dreams might just come true. Yep, you can expect way more than a partridge in a pear tree; we’re talking festive fun under the night sky that you won’t wanna miss. Here are all the deets about the Harvey Nichols Secret Forest pop-up that you need to know…

See the Northern Lights

OK, we’ll level with you – we don’t mean the actual Aurora Borealis. But this is much better than flying to Iceland to spend an evening freezing your pants off in a field without seeing anything at all. Enjoy an evening in the enchanted hideaway, which includes a romantic replica of the Northern Lights, without having to leave London.

Nordic-inspired menu

If the Aurora has left you in, well, awe of Scandinavia, then you’re in luck because the fun doesn’t stop there. Head to the bar to sample some ice-cream cocktails, including a salted caramel-based Merry Mudslide and an alcohol-free chocolate ice-cream Santa Baby. Or, if you’re hungry, tuck into a menu inspired by Nordic favourites – from kantarellmacka (mushroom and gruyère toasties) and köttbullar (meatballs) to kanelbullar (cinnamon buns).

Unmissable movie screenings

The spot will also be screening a handful of festive films for all the family in the run up to the big day, letting you watch some Christmas classics in the comfort of a magical setting. Bag yourself a spot on one of the space’s sofas, sit back and watch favourites including ‘Home Alone’,‘ The Muppet Christmas Carol’ and ‘Miracle on 34th Street’. Tickets cost £20 per adult, while it’s just £10 for children.

Festive Saturday school masterclasses

This year, why not take your Christmas decorations up a notch and create your own festive wreath to adorn your front door? Join Farima Perry Florals for a two-hour session where you’ll make your own creation and sample light refreshments in the Secret Forest. The class costs £80 and runs on Saturday November 30 and Saturday December 7.
