Time Out says

Whenever I feel despondent enough to listen to Dido unironically, I know it’s time to get a manicure. My visit to Brixton-based nail salon Ama coincided nicely with a recent bout of misery, and boy did it nourish my soul. Firstly, the store is aesthetically delicious – the outside walls are wild with foliage and the inside ones plastered with glorious images of Beyoncé, Frida Kahlo, Maya Angelou and the Guerrilla Girls. The space is small, but not cramped, the vibe is modern and the staff are welcoming. But the best thing? The signature free-from manicure therapists use eco-friendly products and polishes. By the end of the treatment, my nails looked great and I felt totally green-fingered.
