Palmers Green, a leafy, family-orientated neighbourhood in the borough of Enfield, has no shortage of beauty salons but Body Beauty stands out. Run by the delightful Soti Antonoiu for the past 25 years, it offers every beauty requirement from Ellipse laser hair removal to Mary Cohr facials. The pedicures, gel nails and full manicures are hugely popular – we were impressed by our indulgent hours manicure (£23) and left with neat cuticles and perfectly-shaped nails in a vibrant fire engine red. On another visit, we also had a soothing neck and shoulder massage upstairs in the treatment rooms. Staff are warm and attentive and tellingly, most seem to have been working at the salon for years, rather than just months. Local salons don’t get friendlier – or more professional – that this.
