Until 2007 when Spa London opened in Bethnal Green, there were scarily few affordable day spa options in the capital. Several branches have opened in the years since, but, for a complete spa day package, the East End original is still a great shout. Facilities include steam rooms, Turkish hamam and plunge pools, while treatments range from salt scrubs (25-minute cleanses that should remove all trace of London grime, starting at £39), to the Revive Package (two 50-minute treatment and two hours of thermal spa, from £148).
