The House of ELEMIS

Time Out says

This cute little spa has been a secret weapon for ladies who lunch and work locally for 14 years. But age was starting to wither the old girl: its Eastern-influenced decor beginning to look dated. So, like its clients, Elemis checked in for a luxurious overhaul (and a new look supervised by stylist Bay Garnett). The results are impressive – as well as a sparkly shop, there are now flash treatment rooms at the top and a Speed Spa in the basement (dealing with fast beauty fixes, not narcotics). You can spend 15 minutes in the pedi chair (£20), or enjoy being treated à deux in the private penthouse (£200/hr), a fab loft with a glass roof and state-of-the-art heated amber and quartz-crystal beds for the ultimate in relaxation.

Underneath its fancy facelift, the treatments on offer are still as vast and as sumptuous as ever. If it's your skin that needs a boost, book in for a fantastic BIOTEC facial, which involve the use of micro electric currents, light therapy and oxygen infusion to repair, firm, invigorate and generally princess-ify your skin. With every BIOTEC appointment, visitors receive full facial analysis which defines which of the seven BIOTEC facials will be most effective. And the results aren't wrong – after a Sonic Skin-Resurfacing Facial, which included a ten-minute massage, we were darn-right glowing. But if it's your soul that needs some TLC, plump for an Elemis massage. The Garden of England Rose Restore massage offers an hour sheer relaxation, what with its soft, hydrating body massage, salt scrub and use of delectable natural oils. Total heaven.

I think I’ve found the cure for the chaos of stressful London! After a very busy day I found myself in the relaxing penthouse treatment room at House Of Elemis for an hour of calm and pampering. My temperamental skin was in much need of some TLC – and Elemis delivered! My therapist Paisley was lovely and professional, making sure to talk me through the stages of the biotech treatment I had chosen and helping me to understand my skin (and what it needs!). It is quite pricey, but they often have deals which can be found through the ‘What’s on this month’ page in the House of Elemis section of Elemis’ website. After the treatment the therapist do talk you through some of the products, but I really felt under no pressure to buy any (I already have a cupboard full of Elemis at home!) unlike other places I have visited. I will definitely be saving the pennies so I can go back!

What a wonderful experience from the moment you walk in through to leaving. The staff are really friendly and very welcoming. I had a skin analysis followed by a facial. This is by far the best facial i have ever had, my skin was left feeling and looking amazing after, and this was noticed by my friends too. I highly recommend this place and will be going back.

I went to house of elemis for a full body pregnancy massage. It was HEAVEN! The spa treatment rooms are lovely - neautrally decorated with soft lighting. Rather than lying on a massage table, I have a little fort of pillows and soft blankets to half lie and half sit upright on. The massage was gentle compared to standard ones but still just as relaxing.

The newly renovated House of Elemis is a beauty dream.

Tucked away in a cute cobble stoned Mayfair street (just behind Bond Street) it is the perfect place to relax in busy london.

I have visited the spa for three treatments. A manicure, pedicure and bio tech facial, but there are many other amazing treatments on their menu. I was already a huge fan of their skincare products in particular the pro collagen cleansing balm!! It works a treat to get the London grim off your face.

Here are my fave things about my treatments

1. They have a huge selection of colourful Nails inc polishes to choose from and you can choose a standard or everlasting (chip free for over a week) mani or pedi

2. They provide you with paraffin mittens for a mani or boots for a pedi. This hot bundle of goodness moisturises your skin and it feels silky smooth afterwards. (Check out the pic)

3. Using advanced technology the therapist scanned my skin to determine the exact skin treatment I needed. I found out where my skin was oily, dry or blemished. After the treatment my skin felt clean, hydrated and radiant.

4. They provide you with an uplifting smoothie after all the treatments

I have visited many of London's top salons and spas and I would highly recommend The House of Elemis for your next treatment. Take your bestie and indulge in a day of pampering.

One of the best manicures I've had in London - somehow managed to dry my toes in two minutes, knowing I had to leave on time for work. I'd expect luxury of this level to be cheaper too - highly recommended. Lovely little sanctuary in the middle of a very stressful and busy bit of London
