Taylor Taylor London have taken an if-it-ain’t-broke-don’t-fix-it approach to the interior, which has the same Marie Antoinette’s boudoir feel to the East London salon, with mismatched vintage finds, birdcage chandeliers and a gorgeous all-gold wash room. The vibe is cool ’n’ chic but uber-relaxed (their stylists are unfailingly lovely and super-profession whenever we’ve been, East or West). And there’s definitely a definitely spoil-me attitude, with complimentary cocktails.
We’re hooked to Taylor and Taylor’s Brazilian blowdries. Everywhere is doing Brazilians these days but the results can vary massively. T&T have have been doing keratin for years and they’re the best we’ve tested. They're not the cheapest, but unlike other brands, their products don’t have a toxic feel, leaving your hair healthier. Even better, you can get your hair wet as soon as you leave the salon (say goodbye to that three-day, can’t-leave-the-house-because-your-hair-is-greasy wait).
