The Morgan has the understated charm of the old family home of a posh but unpretentious English friend: a pleasing mix of nice traditional wooden or iron beds, with pretty floral curtains and coverlets in subtle hues, the odd chandelier or big gilt mirror over original mantelpieces, and padded wicker chairs and sinks in every bedroom, along with free Wi-Fi. Though there’s no guest lounge, guests can sit in the little patio garden in better weather and, for Belgravia, the prices are a steal.
