Who doesn’t think of Toy Story, the classic movie that defined our childhood, and get the warm and fuzzies? The franchise that sees a cast of toy characters including Woody, Buzz, Bo Peep and Jessie come to life when their owners aren’t around captured imaginations around the world and continues to do so with the launch of the latest film. Good news, then, that there’s a free interactive experience at Westfield Stratford City from August 21-31 that coincides with Toy Story 5 hitting cinemas across the UK. Here are three reasons why you need to check it out.

It’s perfect for keeping the kids entertained this summer

We know that the struggle is real during the summer holidays when keeping the kids entertained is a daily challenge. The Toy Story 5 experience is the perfect day out with an oversized world of play built by Bonnie Anderson – who becomes the toys’ new owner at the end of Toy Story 3 – that’s so big that she doesn’t know where she’s put her much-loved toys. For you and your kids, that means hours of fun as they join forces with Lilypad, the frog-shaped smart table given to Bonnie in the new movie, to help them find the gang.

It’s interactive and challenging

Their mission is simple: complete as many of the activities as they can in 30 minutes to earn their deputy badge and stay alert… if they hear footsteps and that door creak, remember the rule: Bonnie’s coming so ‘freeze and fall!’. Giving them challenges that require them to think creatively and outside of the box, it’s an interactive experience that’s so much better than sitting in front of the TV all day.
