Competition-winning children from UK schools make spin paintings in the manner of Damien Hirst as part of this family event for Tate Modern's Hirst exhibition. During the afternoon, there's a limited time slot scheduled for public participation (age 7-11, those wishing to take part are advised to sign up as early as possible on the day; registration opens at 1pm). The artist himself is due to make an appearance (10am). He'll create a spin painting to be auctioned in aid of the charity Kids Company. Work made during the day will go on display in the Market Building's South Hall (Jun 18-Jul 2). All ages.
