Easter Dynamics

The Place's annual five-day-intensive course for dance enthusiasts of all abilities returns with options ranging from introductory classes in contemporary and ballet to challenging repertoire classes with resident professional dance companies. This year's company in residence, Matthew Bourne's New Adventures, is teaching dynamic repertory workshops from their currently touring show, 'Nutcracker!' To accompany Easter Dynamics, on Sat April 14, Youth Dynamics offers a day of workshops for young people aged 9-15 years. Using Matthew Bourne's 'Nutcracker!' as the theme of the day, each session is focused around creative dance tasks inspired by the themes, characters and music of this classic piece. Participants end the day by sharing their work with friends and family.
