Family Day: Gallery as Playground

Artists from the Whitechapel's London Open exhibition, including Leigh Clarke, Caroline Achaintre and Emma Holmes lead a family day to create a giant sculpture. Kids can also play in a sandpit and use a zine to navigate the gallery. An event for the Whitechapel's Children's Art Commission, for which sculptor Eva Rothschild has made a film, 'Boys and Sculpture', showing what happens when young boys are let loose in a gallery.
