Drop budding gardeners aged eight to twelve off in Hyde Park for a day of pottering around Kensington Garden's allotment. The to do list includes feeding the chickens, looking for bugs in the compost, choosing vegetables to plant and watering new additions. The kids will be tended to just as well as the plants are, with outdoor games, a picnic lunch and walks through the park's wildest parts. Don't worry if their fingers aren't green by hometime; they're probably just covered in soil. Booking is recommended.
