The Royal Burials of Ur: Hats, Board Games and Mysterious Objects

Children can take part in a range of activities during this exploration of the royal burials at Ur from the third millennium BCE, including creating head-dresses and helmets, learning how to play the ancient Mesopotamian board-game the 'Royal Game of Ur', and designing their own board games. The event is free and drop-in, and is best suited to children aged 4-14, though all ages are welcome to join in.
