Grotto in the Garden

New for 2026, this Covent Garden grotto experience combines a special festival walking trail around the Piazza with an actual grotto at the end in St Paul’s Church, with the logic being to make it more of a full-bore family experience than simply getting your gift and leaving. Don’t have a child? No worries! You can take your dog instead of (or in addition to) a small person, and it can be the recpient of the trail’s gifts. Presumably the dog won’t have a five minute session with Santa (as a child will), but it’s a thought… You can also pay £9 extra for a storytelling session with Mrs Claus (not aimed at dogs).
