It’s wrong to judge a book by its cover, but if the Free Word Centre’s summer 2013 renovations are any indication, this ‘meeting point for literature, literacy and free expression’ ought to have a better events programme than ever. Six literary organisations and more than 25 associates call the Free Word Centre home, so there's always plenty going on.
