Don Giovanni - The Gay Don

Inspired by Matthew Bourne's all-male production of 'Swan Lake', producer Richard Crichton has taken Mozart's opera and set it in the 1980s, reversing all the roles except the Don. In a new lease of life for this classic story, playboy Don Giovanni leaps out of the closet as a debaucherous nightclub owner pursuing young men as well as the ladies in a club setting inspired by New York's legendary Studio 54. This is a promenade performance . All six performances will benefit The Elton John Aids Foundation.
