The Bear

A noir thriller about an everyday murder and a mythic bear. Devised by the Company, based on an original short story The Bear by Angela Clerkin and Lee Simpson. Performer Angela Clerkin draws from her parallel existence as a solicitor’s clerk at the Old Bailey to create a rich film noir inspired whodunit; a funny, challenging and beautiful story (interspersed with bear facts, advice about what to do when confronted by a bear, songs and much more) about a woman in search of her bear and the transformative power of anger.
