The Big Picnic in the Park

A free, family-friendly event, as part of Pride in London 2013. The picnic runs from 2pm until 6pm, and includes Pride Games in the Park – a preview of the London Gay Games 2018 with professional level taster and coaching sessions, as well as informal competitions throughout the day. Plus there's a dog show, stalls dedicated to sports, health and well-being, the Mayor of Lambeth's Pride reception, and the Waitrose Pride Cake Bake Off with celebrity judge James Mcintosh. Then it's over to the Tea House Theatre for Polari at 6.30pm with Sophia Blackwell, Paul Burston, Alex Hopkins, DJ Connell and Karen Mcleod, a live singalong with G'ZANG at 7.30pm, a screening of 'Priscilla, Queen of the Desert' at 9pm and the laser show finale at 10.45pm.
