Time Out says

It hardly seems ten years ago that there was fervent talk about this nascent movement in clubland known as electroclash - a scene that was blurring all music styles together with a predominantly 80s influenced electronic beat, coupled with outrageous displays of sartorial abandon. Back in 2002 it seemed like anything and everything was possible again as the doors of clubland were thrown open to a youthful, freshly invigorated and creative generation of nocturnal peacocks. Hated by dance music purists and often maligned for embracing a style over substance approach, nevertheless the genre did introduce a vital DIY aesthetic back into an already turgid gay club scene and one dominated by dull, tech house laden super clubs. It was fun to dress up, go out and be queer in clubs again! Clubs like Trash, Nag Nag Nag and The Cock all injected their own flavour into the movement which has continued to exert its influence on (especially gay) clubbing today. Tonight's party marks the tenth anniversary of The Cock. In the main room, Mark Moore (S'Express), Princess Julia, DJ Rokk and Jim Stanton provide the sounds. In Room 2, it's Hot Boy Dancing Spot with The Lovely JohnJo, Hello Mozart and Adam Crail. Plus special live guest TBC.

Visuals by LadyPat, including a retrospective of images from KCTV featuring Tatu & Kenny Campbell. For hookers, punks, dykes and queers. Dress to effect!
