Out at Sea

We've all heard jokes about gay sailors, but what about queer pirates or trans seahorses? Out at Sea is Maritime Museum's celebration of all things LGBTQ+, and it's packed with historical tales, lively performances, and kid-friendly activities. Highlights include a talk about a swindling lesbian heiress, a storytelling session by Lotte Jeffs and Freddy McConnell, and Quest for the Treasure Chest, a piratical adventure by performers ShayShay, Sophie Brain and Mahatma Khandi that takes place on the museum's gigantic map of the world.
