There are dozens of Pride afterparties. But this year, there's an official 'pre' party for early risers who want to get the fun started before the actual parade kicks off. The Big Gay Brunch is billed as 'the campest and funnest village fete ever', hosted on the rolling lawns of Covent Gardens' St Paul's Church.
Drag cabaret artist Le Gateau Chocolat is getting top billing, and will lend his velvety vocals to a line up of show tunes and jazz standards. There will also be performances from a musical theatre choir, saucy dancing from Magic Mike Live stars, and make-up artists from Charlotte Tilbury to get everyone looking Pride perfect. The event is free, but if you want to eat an actual brunch as part of it, you can order one in advance or on the day: prices from £10.50 to £19.50
