Park Nights: Robert Ashley

Held in the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion on Fri Sep 28 and Café OTO in Dalston on Sat Sep 29, this Park Nights event presents a series of 30-minute episodes from pioneering American composer Robert Ashley's Spanish-language opera 'Vidas Perfectas'. The work is a new version of Ashley's 1980s avant-garde opera for television and stage 'Perfect Lives'. Ashley will also perform and take part in a discussion with musician and composer Alex Waterman and artist and writer Will Holder on Sun 30 September at Café OTO.
