Argentine Ambassador’s Residence

Designed by Thomas Cubitt (1788-1855), this building – christened by its first owner, Sidney Herbert, as 'Belgrave Villa – was acquired by Argentina in 1936, with its sumptuous interiors intact. The residence isn't normally open to the public, but for the past decade has taken part in the Open House London event.

Culture, events and great stuff going on at the Argentine Ambassador´s Residence, not just for argentines but open for everyone.

A splendid building in Belgrave Square. Friendly and welcoming staff. A wonderful showcase for Argentine art.

Argentina Residence is an emblematic open house residence, reflecting a longstanding friendship between Argentina and the UK .....and is also the best place in town for asado & empanadas!
