Somerset House's River Terrace is temporary home to an 'urban igloo' which hosts a series of concerts incorporating a variety of ice instruments – musical instruments including horns and percussion carved from pure ice – created by Norwegian composer and instrumentalist Terje Isungset. The concerts, which feature Norwegian singer Lena Nymark, are performed three times a day (1-1.30pm, 3.30-4pm, 6.30-7pm); at other times, visitors can experience an audio-visual installation featuring work by Lumen and artist Mariele Neudecker.
