Resulting from a year's research, artist Paul Coldwell considers the lives of the unknown servants who would once have run Sir John Soane's house (now turned into the museum). Coldwell muses on the idea of the 'the house seen from below', asking what the people who kept the building running would have thought of their master and life at the house. Alongside these figures are Soane's students who would have worked at what is now the back of the museum.
