Time Out says

Friendly warning! We're working hard to be accurate. But these are unusual times, so please check that events are still happening.

Tattoos have a long and historic connection to the armed forces, in particular the Navy. This exhibition at the National Army Museum in Chelsea shares the photographs and stories of the servicemen and women with some highly impressive ink. Soldiers, sailors and airmen get tattoos for a variety of reasons, including remembrance, belonging to a unit and commemorating a significant tour of duty. The show is connected to an ongoing project by the Royal British Legion collecting together the stories of tattoos and the Forces.
