people, staff, music and vibe are all spot on, they definitely deserve to win after this stonking year!

Fantastic night watching Raze at this excellent venue !!! Dark and grungy with a great atmosphere. Barmaid Natasha was great fun - gave the band a run for their money with her dance moves and fast drinks service too !!!

Don't have a bad word to say about the place. Awesome staff, the clientele are the friendliest people you will meet and some of the best music for miles around!!! :D

Great service backed up with a tasty brew and clean place very spacious and scenes filled with fun and decorating. Thanks fighting cocks for the experience.

Awesome bar, awesome music, staff are the most friendly and totally cool people you would want at your local or just a one off visit. Last one of kingstons unique places, good times, rock and roll!

Iconic gigs and an old-school rock n roll vibe, the Fighting Cocks deserves recognition for being the best alternative bar and gig venue south of the river.

Possibly my favourite place in the world, both as an artist and as a punter.

The best nights of my life started at the Fighting Cocks!
Great staff! Great Music! Great Venue! Best Pub in Kingston!

The best place for a good time, a cold pint and a wild party! Got to love The Fighting Cocks and the crew.

This place is a pillar of the rock music scene. Its standing strong against Kingston councils apparent desire to smash all the oldest and best the live music venues to the ground and turn them into flats. Full of charm and has a wonderfully warm atmosphere created, in no small way, by the awesome bar staff. Whether youre walking in there for the first time or youre a well known face in the bar, youre met with polite and friendly staff, always making you feel at home.

The most welcoming pub with amazing staff. The live venue also shows a wide range of bands with a vast range of experience

This amazing local bar/venue has the most tremendous atmosphere thanks to the friendly bar stuff and regulars. Plus it offers the most top notch entertainment. I've lost count of how many mind blowing gigs I have attained there over the years.

Excellent grungy music and comedy venue. Staff never fail to please. Service with a smile! Good place for community get togethers and charity nights. No pretentiousness here.

The party is always on at the Fighting Cocks. It's a rock bar that draws in crowds from far and wide. The main bar upstairs is manned by the best bar staff in Kingston, friendly, funky and always up for a good time. The duke box is loaded with top rock tunes, get your coins in early 'cos people love this thing and it never stops.

Downstairs is the live music venue that hosts top indie, rock and punk acts. It's suitability dingy for its crowd and if those walls could talk it would tell some quite astounding stories.

The punters are always up for a chat, don't be surprised if you leave with a whole bunch of new buddies by the end of the night.
