Emerging as stauch competition for its north west rival's In The City showcase, Liverpool's Sound City draws in big and soon-to-be-big names from the trendier end of the indie/underground spectrum with a good spread of industry workshops and events making it more than just a collection of very good gigs. Indie rock and alt pop are well represented, with some leftfield choices and a few electronic acts thrown in for good measure.
