As you might expect from the name, you can enjoy all the jazz like, right by the North Sea (the Port of Rotterdam, to be precise), at this annual event, hailed as the largest indoor jazz festival on the planet. But there's also more on offer, including hip hop, soul, R&B, pop, funk and drum 'n' bass. It's all supplied by an impressively global cast, including some truly huge names in Mary J. Blige, D'Angelo, Lionel Richie, plus Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga performing together. But those who do want to lose themselves in a weekend-long jazz odyssey will be well served here too.
