Not only can Hackney-born Idris Elba do an uncanny turn as a shifty Baltimore drug overlord in 'The Wire', he's also got some big DJ aspirations, first opening for Deadmau5 and Usher, playing alongside will.i.am and Guetta (but we won't hold that against him), and now he's running his own night at this new Kilburn cocktail bar. 7 Wallace takes place on seven consecutive Fridays, with seven guest DJs, being kept under wraps for now, but featuring Elba's DJ alias Driis. Expect house, UK garage, hip hop, an afterparty vibe and probably no Baltimore gangsters.
