A Celebration of Bert Jansch

This memorial concert for the great folk guitarist, who died in 2011, has a top-class line-up that shows how influential Jansch was across the worlds of folk and rock music. Guests include Eric Clapton, Robert Plant, Bernard Butler of Suede and a range of folk luminaries including Donovan, Ralph McTell, Roy Harper, Beverley Martyn (who hasn't played live in years), Bonnie Dobson, Martin Carthy and others. It'll be filmed by the BBC, and proceeds will go to the Bert Jansch Foundation to support young acoustic musicians. For fans of British folk music, this is utterly unmissable.
