Alex Wilson

A concert of solo piano pieces from impressive Latin jazz pianist Wilson, who has transformed sometimes cliched, salsa-ified jazz into barnstorming, beat-laden walls of sound. For the second half he'll be joined by his new trio, featuring Davide Mantovani on bass and Frank Tontoh on drums, culminating in a short collaboration with a guest artist in a special one-off for the Songlines Encounters Festival.
