Amira Kheir performs a live score for 'One Arabian Night'

Soulful Sudanese-italian singer Kheir infuses traditional East African music with western jazz and folk as she provides a brand new score for Ernst Lubitsch's ornate 1920 adventure film about a hunchbacked clown in a travelling carnival. She'll be performing with a small band, including Arabic oud and nay wind instruments, as part of Part of Birds Eye View's 2013 Film Festival: Celebrating Arab Women Filmmakers.
