Atongo Zimba

Having played with the likes of Fela Kuti, Hugh Masekala, Manu Dibango and Angelique Kidjo, Zimba is undoubtedly one of the leading exponents of the koloko – a two-stringed calabash lute from northern Ghana, considered the musical ancestor of the banjo.
