MIA, Pulp, Moby, Portishead, Madness, Lamb, Public Image Ltd, Junip, Beirut, Simian Mobile Disco, Imogen Heap. The desirable Sri Lanka-via-London renegade MIA makes a welcome appearance this summer in Slovakia for the Bazant Pohoda festival, which means 'peace' (pohoda) in English. Somewhat less interesting, the Bazant part is taken from the name of one of their sponsors, Zlaty Bazant brewery. The petite, genre-spanning vegan Moby joins MIA, along with national treasures Pulp and the original Camden nutty boys, ska punkers Madness.
