BBC Prom 1: First Night of the Proms

The first of 76 Proms concerts and eight chamber recitals sees Sakari Oramo conducting the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, BBC Singers and BBC National Chorus of Wales in the premiere of Gary Carpenter’s ‘Dadaville’, Mozart’s Piano Concerto No 2 (soloist Lars Vogt), plus Sibelius and Walton’s different approaches to ‘Belshazzar’s Feast’.
