South African soprano Pumeza Matshikiza joins BBC Singers as soloist in the world premiere of compatriot Kevin Volans’s new choral work. The BBC Symphony Orchestra is then conducted by Andrew Litton in ‘My Father Knew Charles Ives’ by John Adams and Ives’s eclectic Symphony No 4.
