One of a new breed of festival aimed squarely at the impoverished (ie parent-funded) student market. This particular festival takes place on eight miles of beach in Wales at the start of university students' never-ending summer hols and though most activities are based around booze and dance music, there are some less studenty amusements such as surfing, human zorbing, a dry ski slope and – ahem – hot tubbing. Skream, Benga and Artwork headline under their live alias MM, alongside charming grime-dance popster TT, twenty-year-old funky house gal KB and WAS, with their sharp, synth-stoked and booty-shaking indie-pop.
