Bergonzi in London

The Royal Academy of Music in association with the Fondazione Stradivari Cremona present a seminar and exhibition: New research into the life and work of Carlo Bergonzi (1683–1747). Guest speakers include Chris Reuning: 'Unveiling Carlo Bergonzi'; John Dilworth: 'Overview of the style and construction methods of Carlo Bergonzi'; Carlo Chiesa: 'Carlo Bergonzi contribution to the late Cremonese School'. With musical excerpts on Bergonzi violins and an exhibition of several important Bergonzi instruments: open 9am-7.30pm.
