A stellar line-up of contemporary musicians perform 'Third/Sister Lovers', the last album the highly influential '70s power-pop quartet Big Star made before singer-guitarist Chris Bell died in a car accident aged 27. Original Big Star drummer Jody Stephens will play alongside Hot Chip's Alexis Taylor, Mike Mills from REM, Brendan Benson, Norman Blake of Teenage Fanclub fame, Ira Kaplan from Yo La Tengo, Sharon Van Etten, Jon Auer, Sondre Lerhce and I Am Kloot's John Bramwell.
