Bill Orcutt

As the guitarist of influential Miami noise rockers, and we really really mean noise, Harry Pussy, Orcutt put himself at the forefront of avant garde American music. After they disbanded though, he disappeared from view - only to return a few years ago with solo acoustic thrashings that were somehow just as abrasive as his previous work. Steeped in the blues, and nasty as hell, avant garde guitar music rarely gets as good as this.
